construction and demolition debris



most construction and demolition (C and D) projects in california are required to to divert 50% or more of their waste from the landfill. for details on the  specfic requirements in your community, contact your local recycling coordinator for assistance: jurdictional

mixed  loads of C&D debris can be brought to the county central landfill C&D sorting facility for recycling-this may be the easiest way to satisfy the diversion requirements for your project.

materials accepted: branches, drywall, cardboard, carpet padding, concrete, asphalt, bricks, dirt, gravel, green waste, pallets, plastics #1, 2, 4, 5,  and #7, porcelain sinks, toilets, scrap metals

materials not accepted: composite roof shingles, carpet, roofing tiles, plastic foam, plastic film, pressure treated wood, PVC pipe, concrete roofing tiles (accepted in source separated loads only)...appliances and pressure treated wood may be dropped off separately for a fee.
